LIP BLUSH

What is lip blush? Lip blush is a cosmetic procedure that involves tattooing semi-permanent pigment into the lips to enhance their natural color and shape.

How is lip blush different from traditional lipstick or lip liner? Lip blush provides a more natural and long-lasting solution compared to traditional lipstick or lip liner. It involves depositing pigment into the lips, creating a tint that lasts for months, whereas traditional makeup needs to be reapplied throughout the day.

How long does lip blush last? Lip blush typically lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as individual skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Is the procedure painful? Pain tolerance varies among individuals, but most people describe the sensation as uncomfortable rather than painful. Topical anesthetics are often applied to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

How long does the lip blush procedure take? The procedure usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, including consultation, numbing, and the actual tattooing process.

What is the aftercare for lip blush? Keep the lips moisturized with ointment, avoiding certain foods and activities that may cause irritation, and protecting the lips from direct sunlight.

Are there any risks or side effects associated with lip blush? As with any cosmetic procedure, there are potential risks and side effects, such as swelling, redness, bruising, infection, and allergic reactions. Follow all aftercare instructions to minimize these risks.

How much does lip blush cost? The cost of the initial lip blush session is $450. 30 Day Touch up is $275, additional touch ups are $250 per session if needed. A yearly touch up is $400 per session.

OMBRE BROWS

What are ombre brows? Ombre brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that creates a gradient effect on the eyebrows, where the inner part of the brow is lighter and gradually gets darker towards the tail, mimicking the look of softly filled-in brows.

How are ombre brows different from microblading? Ombre brows and microblading are both semi-permanent eyebrow techniques, but they differ in their application and final look. Microblading involves using a handheld blade that cuts into the skin creating hair strokes. It is more painful and can only be done on dry skin. Ombre brows, on the other hand, involve a shading technique that creates a soft, powdery effect, which results in a natural powder like look. Ombre brows tend to last longer and require less frequent touch-ups compared to microblading.

How long do ombre brows last? Ombre brows typically last between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired look.

Is the procedure painful? Pain tolerance varies among individuals, but most people describe the sensation as discomfort rather than pain. Topical anesthetics are often applied to numb the area and minimize discomfort during the procedure.

How long does the ombre brow procedure take? The procedure usually takes about 2 to 3 hours, including consultation, numbing, and the actual tattooing process.

What is the aftercare for ombre brows? Make sure to keep brows dry and clean for the first few days, avoiding certain activities that may cause irritation, and applying a healing ointment as directed.

Are there any risks or side effects associated with ombre brows? You may experience swelling, redness, bruising, infection, and allergic reactions but this is not common. It's important to follow all aftercare instructions to minimize these risks.

How much do ombre brows cost? The cost of the initial ombre brow session is $575. 30 Day Touch up is $275, additional touch ups are $300 per session if needed. A yearly touch up is $450 per session.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

What is laser hair removal? Laser hair removal is a cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated beams of light to target and destroy hair follicles, reducing or eliminating hair growth in the treated area. Laser hair removal is designed for individuals seeking a permanent reduction in unwanted facial or body hair through laser treatments. If you're frustrated with traditional methods that only offer temporary results, this treatment might be the solution for you.

How does laser hair removal work? During the procedure, the laser emits a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair follicles. This heat damages the follicles, inhibiting future hair growth.

Which areas of the body can be treated with laser hair removal? Laser hair removal can be performed on almost any area of the body, including the face, arms, legs, underarms, bikini line, chest, back, and abdomen.

Is laser hair removal permanent? Laser hair removal can significantly reduce hair growth, but it's considered a semi-permanent procedure. While many people experience long-lasting results, some hair may eventually grow back, although it is often finer and lighter in color.

How many sessions are needed for laser hair removal? The number of sessions required depends on factors such as the individual's hair type, skin color, and the area being treated. Typically, multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart are needed to achieve optimal results.

Is laser hair removal painful? The sensation of laser hair removal is often described as a mild stinging or snapping feeling. However, pain tolerance varies among individuals. Numbing creams or cooling devices may be offered to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Are there any side effects of laser hair removal? While laser hair removal is generally safe, you may include temporary redness, swelling, and skin irritation in the treated area. In rare cases, blistering, scarring, or changes in skin pigmentation may occur.

Who is a suitable candidate for laser hair removal? Laser hair removal is most effective for individuals with dark hair and light skin, as the laser targets the pigment in the hair follicles. However, advancements in technology have made laser hair removal accessible to a wider range of skin tones.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for this treatment? Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams or makeup (if you’re getting a treatment on your face) before your session, and stop using any products that might irritate your skin 2-3 days before. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated. You must shave the area 24 hours before treatment. They will also ask about your medical history, so it helps to have that information ready.

What if I have used depilatories or other hair removal treatments, such as waxing, plucking, or electrolysis, within 6 weeks prior to treatment? To ensure optimal results, it's generally recommended to refrain from depilatories, waxing, plucking, or electrolysis for at least 6 weeks before the scheduled laser hair removal session.

Is there any downtime after laser hair removal? Most people can resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, it's essential to follow post-treatment care instructions, such as avoiding sun exposure and applying soothing creams as recommended.

How much does laser hair removal cost? The cost of laser hair removal varies depending on factors such as the size of the treatment area and the number of sessions needed. On average, a single session can range from $30 to $250, with package deals available for multiple sessions.

SPECTRUM LASER TREATMENTS

What are Spectrum Laser Treatments?  Spectrum laser treatments are cosmetic procedures that utilize various wavelengths of light energy to address a variety of skin concerns. The lasers can penetrate the skin to different depths and target specific structures or issues.

What is IPL Therapy?  Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy uses broad-spectrum light to target pigment irregularities such as sunspots, freckles, and vascular lesions like broken capillaries. It can also stimulate collagen production, improving skin texture and tone.

What is Vascular Reduction? Targets blood vessels in the skin, vascular laser therapy can treat conditions like spider veins, rosacea, and certain types of birthmarks by selectively heating and destroying abnormal blood vessels

How does Tattoo Removal Work? Lasers can break down the ink particles in tattoos, allowing the body's natural processes to eliminate them gradually. We only work on small tattoos, not larger areas.

What is Erbium YAG?  A type of laser that emits light energy at a wavelength of around 2940 nanometers, which is highly absorbed by water in the skin. This makes it particularly effective for skin resurfacing treatments. Erbium YAG lasers are often preferred for skin resurfacing treatments because they typically cause less heat damage to surrounding tissue compared to other types of lasers, such as CO2 lasers. This results in faster healing times and less risk of complications. This type of laser is used for the following:

Skin Resurfacing: To remove the outer layers of damaged or aging skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells. This can improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, acne scars, and uneven skin texture.

Scar Revision: To reduce the appearance of scars, including acne scars and surgical scars, by smoothing and blending the skin's surface.

Treatment of Pigmentation Issues: Targets and breaks up areas of excess pigmentation, such as age spots, sun spots, and freckles, leading to a more even skin tone.

Wrinkle Reduction: By promoting collagen production and tightening the skin, helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and tighten loose or sagging skin.

INJECTABLES

What are injectables? Injectables are cosmetic procedures that involve the injection of various substances into the skin to address specific concerns, such as wrinkles, volume loss, and facial contouring. Commonly referred to as dermal fillers and neurotoxins (e.g., Botox)

What types of injectables are available? The two main types of injectables are dermal fillers and neurotoxins. Dermal fillers are used to add volume, smooth lines, and enhance facial contours, while neurotoxins temporarily relax muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

What areas of the face can be treated with injectables? Injectables can be used to address a variety of concerns in different areas of the face, including lines and wrinkles around the eyes (crow's feet), forehead lines, frown lines (between the eyebrows), smile lines (nasolabial folds), cheeks, lips, chin, and jawline.

How long do injectables last? The duration of results varies depending on the type of injectable used, the area treated, and individual factors such as metabolism and lifestyle. Generally, dermal fillers can last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, while neurotoxins typically last 3 to 4 months.

Are injectables painful? Most injectable procedures involve minimal discomfort, as topical numbing creams or local anesthesia is often applied before the injections. Patients may experience mild bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site, which typically resolves within a few days.

What are the potential side effects of injectables? While injectables are generally safe, potential side effects may include bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness, itching, or lumps at the injection site. More serious complications such as infection or allergic reactions are rare but possible.

Is there any downtime after injectables? Most injectable procedures require minimal to no downtime, and patients can typically resume their normal activities immediately after treatment. However, it's essential to follow post-procedure instructions provided to optimize results and minimize risks.

How much do injectables cost? The cost of injectables varies case by case. Please schedule a FREE Consultation.

BODY TREATMENTS

Body Contouring/Body Slimming

What is body contouring? Body contouring is aimed at sculpting and reshaping the body to improve its appearance by reducing excess fat, tightening skin, and enhancing body contours.

Who is a good candidate for body contouring? Good candidates for body contouring are individuals who are at or near their ideal body weight but have specific areas of concern, such as stubborn pockets of fat or loose skin, that have not responded to diet and exercise alone.

What areas of the body can be treated with body contouring? Body contouring can target various areas of the body, including the abdomen, thighs, hips, buttocks, arms, back, chest, chin, and neck.

How long does it take to see results from body contouring? The timeline for seeing results varies depending on individual factors. Treatments may show gradual improvements over several weeks to months as the body naturally eliminates treated fat cells or remodels collagen. We recommend 10 sessions to see full results.

Are body contouring procedures permanent? Body contouring procedures can provide long-lasting results, but they are not necessarily permanent. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, can help prolong the results of body contouring treatments.
